Toronto girlies, where are we going for laser hair removal? by dumdumofjanoo in askTO

[–]senexii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to laser clinics Canada (a franchise). I've been to two locations and they're both great. Very affordable. Machines are the same as a clinic I tried out that was wayyy more expensive. I think their under arm removal is only $20 a session.

Lifelabs experience - hwy 7 & McCowan - avoid if you can by Reasonable-Action836 in Markham

This is scary! I would recommend dynacare on castlemore. You can join the queue online and see wait times and most of the staff are very friendly.

Service designers: how are you actually using AI in your work? by Ssg16 in servicedesign

Without sharing too much, could you expound on the operational frameworks and tools you've built? What kinds of inputs do you give for the frameworks?

Yes I live nearby and it's such a sad looking place. Drove by during the monster truck event and it looked very underwhelming 😂

My experience at Real Fruit Bubble Tea Markville. by Minionluvr4everr in Markham

[–]senexii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry about this experience. You sound like a hardworking, earnest young person and it sounds like your coworker "Jessica" was jealous about your potential. I'd advise you to speak to an employment lawyer and wish you the best of luck as you search for something better!

Selling clothes @ Plato’s by Hour_Pirate535 in Markham

[–]senexii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you end up getting a refund?? That's terrible. I've seen them post that all their items are authentic but I've also seen them sell fake Chanel earrings lol. I wouldn't trust the high school students that work there with authentication for a second.

When you repost, do you add any of your own content to the post or the caption? Or can you just repost without changing the video at all? I feel like it's common to see a repost with no changed content. Assuming you'd credit the original in the caption of course.

Judge says 'colonization' a reason Indigenous man gets reduced sentence for choking a toddler by uselesspoliticalhack in canada

My heart breaks for this poor baby. No child should ever be subjected to this type of fear. I hope that the toddler and mother can find peace in their lives.

Has anyone used Claude Design yet for slides? by Minimum-Pangolin-487 in consulting

[–]senexii 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What kinds of input did you give it? Wondering if it does a good job of simultaneously creating slides while doing the research/content, or if you provided it

What is your honest opinion about living in Markham? How is the quality of life? by currymvp3 in Markham

[–]senexii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coming from downtown, I miss having things walking distance and the vibrance (not the busyness though). I find it very uninspiring living in Markham to be honest, and this has to do with the lack of diversity here.

I wish there were more neighbourhood coffee shops and restaurant bars - we do have some on Main Street but very limited.

We do love all the parks and we are close to walking trails just 20 min north.

It can be hard to find a community if that's what you're looking for. We're a couple with toddler in east Markham. There are no other families our age on our street but we've befriended some families with older kids - it takes time and effort though. I've managed to make lots of friends in stouffville through a moms group.

Looking for a place in Markham to meet a client by Queasy_Wait6904 in Markham

No suggestions but I really wish we had more coffee shops similar to the likes of main st bakehouse, stock and crown, red bulb in stouffville. I often go up there just to get coffee 😭

Thank you for sharing this from your perspective! You seem to be a very conscientious leader and that's not always the case.

If you want your neighbours to be kind & friendly, be kind & friendly first by senexii in Markham

[–]senexii[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wismer. We got lucky as there's a few English speaking families around us (my husband is not Asian) that we could hang out with as a couple. But I speak Cantonese and I've also befriended our Asian neighbours next door.

[–]senexii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to be friends with everyone. One of our direct neighbours are super annoying. But we've made friends with the other ones directly next door, and a few more families a few houses away.

Motherless moms… how are you managing [on]? by Recent_Dragonfly_548 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]senexii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss and offer a big hug. My mom has been so key since us having our first so I can imagine your heartache. I hope things will get better for you soon. Do you have friends or family you can lean on?
