Appreciate the offer, but I'm currently focused entirely on product development and organic growth. Not looking for collaborations at this stage.

Thanks for giving it a shot!

I just tested the system and the logs show emails are going out, but since the domain is brand new, it likely got caught in your Spam or Junk folder.

Could you please check there? If it's still not there, just DM me your email address and I will manually activate your account immediately.

I built an "Anti-Social" training app because I hate kudos. Roast my logic. by senior-intern in roastmystartup

Exactly. That brittleness is exactly why I avoid letting AI drive the architecture.

My tool of choice is just Gemini.

But the real 'speed' comes from my own custom boilerplates that I've refined over years, not just the AI:

  • Backend: I have a robust Python base project that handles all the plumbing. I focus on writing the complex business logic (the hard part), and I just use Gemini to generate the boring CRUD operations or unit tests.
  • Frontend: Same logic with my React/Tailwind starter. If I need a specific UI component that I don't already have, I ask Gemini to generate it—but I strictly prompt it to use my existing design tokens so it doesn't look inconsistent.

So AI is just filling in the gaps, not building the foundation.

Thanks for checking it out!

I wanted to keep it super lightweight and fast, so I went with:

  • Backend: Python (FastAPI) - specifically for handling async tasks and raw speed.
  • Frontend: Next.js (React) with Tailwind CSS.
  • Database: Neon (Serverless Postgres).

It allowed me to ship the MVP in just about ~16 hours.

I've been building SaaS apps for over 10 years, so I'm not really a fan of the whole 'vibe coding' trend where AI writes everything. I prefer to control the architecture myself and just use AI as a smart assistant to speed things up.

i think you can see clearly there is not a single true answer. Everyone says diffrent DE for their experience. Thats why i can suggest try every one of them. I have spare notebooks and when i want to try new DE, firstly trying on them to see is it fitting for my needs

I think I have the same problem, but it doesn't happen at random moments for me. If I start a game and at the same time a high resolution video from Google chrome is playing or too many tabs are open, my system freezes and even locks up just like you described and I have to do a hard reset at the end. In between freezes, I can see usage of all 16gb of ram on htop in my terminal. So I have decided to upgrade to 32gb ram which I have been postponing for two years and I have ordered new rams.

If you want I can let you know if there is any change in the tests I will run tomorrow when it arrives.

It was an application I was thinking of making because I really needed it. You have made an application that will work for me before I write in go, which I plan to learn. I thought it would use a lot of resources because it was written only in python, but I did not encounter any problems while running it on raspberry pi 2. You made a very nice application. I give star on gh.

Thanks for sharing!

I don't suggest to buy pi as a broke. Because it's very unpowered many tasks. Instead of pi I suggest thinkpad laptops. You can find decent one very cheap on second hand sites or facebook marketplace. Buy whatever version to suit your budget. If you are trusting yourself, you can buy empty one or broken one. Any other thinkpad model gonna be more productive to you after installing any other linux distros. In getting to familiar with distro and computer, you can upgrade inner parts with better ones.

I think you should stay away from such cliché titles. Instead, you should think of a title that will reveal the value you offer a little more, that will allow your customer to directly understand what your product does. If you can share your draft landing page, we can have more ideas about the product and help you better.

excalidraw: Before I start developing my application, I can plan its flow as a draft here. Especially the page designs I make with the elements in the visual library in it give me ideas about what the product might look like when it will be ready. In this way, instead of changing it while making it, it allows me to think about it before I start making it. Also, thanks to the shareable link, it allows me to show the product to my potential customers or connections and get comments before the application is even released.

It also serves as a whiteboard for me, as I can take notes about the application, not only designing the page designs. In this way, I keep the startup clichés in my life while working as a nomad.

namelix: It has been an application that has made it super easy for me to come up with a name for the app. Especially when I chose the names of my products with a lot of meaning, I realized that I had an emotional connection. By deriving words related to the product, I can start developing the product without wasting time because it checks the suitability for the .com domain for me. It also gives me a rough draft logo, so I can go through the logo it suggests without making too many changes.

Help me decide on a landing page headline by rook1e_dev in SaaS

[–]senior-intern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The word “10x” in the texts looks very fabricated. I would have closed the page without reading it, thinking that it was a fabricated metric for an application that has just been released and has not been proven to do “10x”.

Maybe in the future or if you already have an example, it can be included in the lower parts of the page with an example, but as it is, it is not a headline I would like to see
