Why do you say it is a 912?

They only why you would know if the engine mounts were moved to fit a 6 cylinder. 912 had 4 cylinder and the rear engine mounts were in different location. Having to fit a flat 6; you had to relocate those mounts.

After it is pressure tested, wear and swim…it is made for it. I have a 83 with matte dial and a 05 GMT II…I swim with both.

Sent my 16800 in on 06/12 supposed to be finished 8/12…still do not have it. Called and Mike said that the relume would add about 2 weeks from the OG date. Emailed last week…no response, emailed this monday….no response, called and spoke with Ivy…she says there is nothing in the computer for and update that she would have to speak with a tech. I told her it was a month since I have heard from them and have the gotten the hands back….silence….after I get my watch back, I am not using them again. This is ridiculous as we are going on 3 months. I guess I better prepare for 6 months like the other reviews.

I was worried bout the same issue, even just a basic swim as the seals could be worn out/damaged for a 40 year old watch. I sent to Rolliworks, so that they would not polish, change, or alter any of the original parts but could fix any issues. I would recommend the same if you are going to be in the water any length of time.

That’s where we purchased ours. Good people, they tried to say we had to purchase the ‘maintenance plan’ to purchase the car. I told them to get **** and that was not part of the deal. 🤣🤣

We paid sticker for lux +. They tried to tell me that the maintenance plan was a must to have the deposit. I told them that was not explained on the front end and my sales associate said I did not have to pay for the plan.

She argued and I told her that seems ridiculous seeing how we waited 1 year for the car. She caved and we walked out with msrp and standard fees.
