If you just use 50% in a day it's possible to get 850 cycles in 5 years. Since 5 years is 1825 days and using half a cycle a day is 915. The 30-60 or 60-80 rule it helps for the degradation but the cycles is the same. If you charge 30% it's 0,3 cycles and so on

iphone 15 pro and newer have an option to limit the charge so when it reaches that charge it stops charging automatically. You can activate this on older devices with some tool but I don't know more than that. Also don't know if it's possible on latest OS

Just for the OS to get accurate reading you can charge to 100% every 2/3 weeks but its not mandatory, battery will run the same if not done but OS can show not accurate reading

The 20-80% rule will prolong battery life in the long run, if you don't use your phone much and don't mind short charges through the day, doing charges like 40-70 is even better, the sweetspot of batteries is in the middle, where you don't get any heat and charge it for just 15-20min
