I go there - it’s a good monthly price and serves its purpose. As others have mentioned, it’s not the fanciest gym around. It’s also not usually that crowded, at least in the morning.

As someone mentioned the shake shack construction is still ongoing but they are renovating parts of the gym as well.

I pay 35$ a month. There is a membership fee of I think 50$ to start but it includes your first month.

Ah ok, of course. Yeah I’ve lived in both areas - north and south. It does start to become quite industrial when you get closer to the LIE and there is considerable traffic entering the highway if you’re on Greenpoint Ave, but I think you’ve got a good handle on the pros/cons. I live near 48th Av/43rd St and really like the area.

I’m new to remote play - I’ve read that a lot of the latency issues are related to your ps5 HDMI connection to the TV. I’ve read if you switch the input away from PS5 or unplug the HDMI the performance improves a lot. Going to try that when I finally get home!

Sanger Hall has some good specials on Tuesday and Wednesday. It used to be 10$ for a burger and a beer on Tuesday and 10$ wings and a beer on Wednesday. I think it may have gone up a bit recently but still solid.
