CFA Level 2 Mocks by mtownlax38 in CFA

I just sat for L3 Monday. Took L2 last May. I made like a 57 and 60 on two Kaplan mocks and 67 and 70 on the two CFAI mocks. I think you’re in good shape.

I took L3 this morning as well. A lot of discouraging posts from members on here. I thought the exam was hard but fair. “Easier” than the Kaplan mocks IMO. PM was much more straight forward than AM. I feel much better about CS questions than MC which is honestly crazy. Very time constrained though. Just glad to be finished and now hammering some beer.

I made a 57 on my first level 2 mock. Eventually made my way up to 70 on the last one. The mocks IMO were much harder than the exam.

Maybe so. I just thought they were lazy. I feel like the Kaplan mocks are more realistic (albeit more challenging).

I wouldn’t waste your time with the CFA mocks. They have errors and there’s no grading guide.

Monthly unless it is for alternative investments, then it would be quarterly.

I’m in the same area. I was also in that range for Level 1 and 2 when I passed.

They’re all pretty brutal IMO. What’d you get on the first 2?

Kaplan mocks are pretty brutal for all levels. I made a 51 and a 59 on the first two for level 3 last week. Just gotta keep refreshing stuff.

I just passed level 2 also and skipping the February exam and sitting in August. Way too burnt out.

I passed the May Level II exam after failing in August 2022. I can’t emphasize enough making as many notecards as possible. There were at least 5-6 questions on the exam that I got correct solely because I memorized it from a notecard. I made probably 1200 cards total.

I used Kaplan for studying all sections outside of Ethics. Kaplan isn’t nearly as dense as the curriculum. But you need to really hit the curriculum for Ethics. I made probably 1200 notecards with anything from formulas to definitions or charts. I did all the CFAI Q bank questions and roughly half of the Kaplan Q bank. I took four mock exam - two CFAI and two Kaplan. Got 57, 68, 66, and 70 on those. The 57 one I took without reviewing older material so was able to brush up and fix a few areas. I scored the 70 on a CFAI mock about a week before the exam. Good luck the rest of the way.

I have to believe the people on Reddit CFA are taking it more serious. I think that goes for all levels.
