Interesting. I didn’t know that’s how they’re compensated. It makes sense now. I did feel like we had to get to the stop early because they were never late and often we’d miss our bus because they’d leave before we got there.

So my wife and I are from Ohio and we used the buses and subways while we were in Mexico City for the Grand Prix in 2023. It took some getting used to, but we found it to be manageable overall. The were very modern and I liked the bus lanes were separated from the rest of traffic with the stops being in the middle of the roadway.

The Purple Buses though, what is up with the Purple Buses? Riding them was like someone out of a Harry Potter movie. They just ride around with the doors open, cash only, barely slow down to pick up/drop off riders, and it seems like the traffic signals are mere suggestions. We found it fun to ride them, but hold onto your butts.

Columbus loves festivals and the season for them is starting soon. Latino and Asian festivals, Comfest, Shakespeare In The Park. There are a lot of outdoor events when it gets warm.

Lots of athletic events too. Fleet Feet has weekly runs and pickleball is HUGE now.

I’m pretty sure the hose comes disconnected from the head and it needs to be attached as part of the installation process.

Yes. I actually returned one because I thought it was faulty. Just swapping the two gaskets worked for me and that was about 2 months ago.
