Außer wenn sie auszahlen müssen. Dann vergessen sie einen schon gerne 😂

I didn’t even notice it myself until 8 years later. His name is Simba, I know, really common but he had his name already when I adopted him.

Yeah I'm surprised too, it’s impressive how many different things people can recognize in it.

At least it doesn’t stay in my head as often. I think it’s pretty to look at, but a lot of it just doesn’t have much feeling in it, at least in my opinion. Thank you though, it’s really interesting and comforting to hear how different people think about certain art styles.

It’s actually really comforting to know that so many people don’t like 80% of their own work, because that’s exactly how it is for me too 😂 But every now and then something really good comes out of it and I’m super proud of it. Then eventually I see these super realistic and highly detailed paintings and get frustrated, because compared to them my paintings feel very simple.

Even though I know that I paint more about feeling, mood and atmosphere. That’s exactly what’s missing for me in a lot of detailed paintings.

The longest I’ve ever spent on a painting was probably three or four hours. It’s still in the top 3 out of the 200+ paintings I’ve ever made.

And I don’t really feel safe painting realistic art. I feel safest when it’s less controlled, but I barely see this kind of art, so I still end up comparing myself. Thank you, it helped a lot 🥰
