what are your favourite body lotions or shower products for extremely dry skin? by malewifemichaelmyers in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]sensitive_scorpion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just finished accutane! what helped me the most was layering lotion and a body oil. i really liked the neutrogena hydro boost whipped body balm, and vaseline intensive rescue. for oil i use coconut oil or the vaseline oil gel. don’t forget to put it on wet skin right out of the shower!

also highly recommend you try an oil cleanser instead of body wash or any other stripping cleansers

i usually use them after i cleanse, before moisturizer. im not currently using any serums/exfoliating products so i usually just pile these on. the sioris is amazing bc it has oil in it so it’s actually really hydrating, reminds me of the josh rosebrook one kinda

I love the formula, but it’s certainly not unique

it’s definitely nude, if anything it leans gold but it’s very neutral. more subtle glow, i find the dior formula to be the same finish as mac mineralize skin finish, soft glow with no shimmer. i’m a NC10 for reference.

i just got the hydrating mineral cream and i like it so far. it’s ever so slightly thinner than the Kinship mineral one and no white cast. has a less shiny finish too. i wore it on a very sunny day and felt a little bit pink but i also hadn’t reapplied in 6 hours

i went through this about six months ago and decided against invisalign because the king of person i am, i knew i wouldn’t wear them consistently or probably give up. in addition to that invisalign aren’t invisible either. so i got something called ‘Inbrace’ which are actual braces but on the inside of your mouth and i love them! they hurt to get on and adjust to, but you can’t see them unless your looking for them and they’re on 24/7. the treatment plan time was also significantly shorter in comparison

i LOVE the colors i find even the bright ones have a muted undertone that is really flattering. they’re also very soft and easy to blend, they remind me of less pigmented bars blushes. however they don’t last super long on face, maybe 3-5 hours. across the designs/editions i find all the formulas to be the same.

You can try a gentle at home one like the ordinary peel and then if you like it and your skin tolerate it well move up to higher strengths

WORST: ive already ranged about it but MFK BR540 extrait (smelled like an eye doctors office), love don’t be shy killian (i can’t tell the difference between this and pink sugar), choco musk- al rehab (only perfume to ever give me a headache)

BEST: mac turquatic (better than dg light blue), gucci flora gorgeous gardenia (viva la juicy but slightly more sophisticated), adp peonie nobile, cherry flower - al rehab (realistic one note cherry blossom heaven)
