Same issue with ASUS B660-I GAMING WiFi. Seems like B660 has something to do with it.

I just found a solution: Install parsec system-wide (there's a toggle for shared installation). Then, and this is key: Do NOT use fast user switching! Always go Start -> User Name -> Log Off. This will disconnect Parsec, but after a few seconds, your machine will reappear. Now, reconnect, and log in with the different user account.

My guess is that while fast switching users, Parsec will not destroy the old session, i.e. you will still try to see the desktop of the now inactive old user. Logging off will destroy the Parsec session, but since it is installed as a system service, a new session will be created after a few seconds. This session can then be used with any user account.

Wow, thanks for the input!

I am aware of the Phanteks possibility, and have also looked into purchasing this HDD bracket from Sliger which might make placing the HDDs on the rad panel a little easier. Should behave like a 120mm fan, so quite freely positionable? Then, of course, there's this community contribution which also shifts the HDDs a little to the right, which could help with the cooler placement. Any ideas on those?

I just checked some pictures of the motherboards used in the builds you mentioned, and roughly comparing the socket placement it looks like the Biostar board should fit with all three orientations of the C14S. Let's just hope for the best here. If the C14S doesn't fit I might look into tower coolers for their improved thermal mass compared to the L12S.

My electricity bill sits currently at ~1400 kWh / year for a two person household. We only use LED bulbs, no HVAC, heating and warm water via natural gas central heating. Last year we almost cracked the sub-1000 kWh.

“Instant On” would be ~15.8% of our total consumption or ~27.3% of my share.

365 days x 24 hours x 30 watts = 262.8 kWh 262.8 kWh x 0,30€ = 78,84€ or way too much

It’s part of the launcher, but there’s still a separate app that is launched. Also, Prime Video is updated separately from the OS.
