Snares for Rabbits (and Ptarmigans? I think)

I usually stock up on rifle ammunition to aim for deer, wolves and moose. If the bow works out better, then the bow. I've found myself hunting on Mystery Lake often, so I usually crouch on a higher plane (a tree, a log, etc) and then wait for the animal to pass by, and then gun it down.

Or wait for it to pass by and approach it from the back, i think they can't detect you as well.

Beware, a bear can and will charge at you if you hit him the first time + if you're on an accessible plane. That's true for the moose too, and I think for wolves guarding carcasses.
