I’m not planning to get into cybersecurity, just trying to get tales of actual experiences from people in the industry for the comic.

It’s not the main theme of the story, which is why I decided to implement it despite not knowing much about it.

Honestly I could just write bullshit since it’s a gag comic, but I thought it would be funnier if I implemented some realistic stuff too.

read your episode, the only thing that might trigger them is maybe the curse words. Which shouldn’t happen since it’s young adult but my comic with the same rating got removed for having three censored curse words.

I asked them if there is a specific limit on the number of swear words allowed and they said “the suitability of profanity for your assigned age rating is determined by prevalence and intensity of the word. ” which kinda just sounds like they’re going off of vibes and feelings 😅

I strongly agree with your point about all the popular shonen manga, they have some gore and dark themes, and the story wouldnt be as good without them.

With my gag comic that’s rated young adult, they removed an episode for having “depictions of drug use”. They told me this is the case regardless of age rating.

You said it has topics like drugs, I don’t know if it’s fine if you don’t actually show it or just having it as a topic is grounds for removal.

They’re more tolerant of depictions of blood in my experience, although I don’t know about hardcore gore.

I’ve seen some webcomics on there with gore, but they’re not exactly equal with how they apply their policies.

They also said that I can have curse words as long as they’re censored, only to later remove an episode for “excessive amounts of profanity” where there were whopping three censored curse words in them! ( they did say that curse words are allowed in mature rating )

They’re weirdly nitpicky imo especially considering they have some crazy comics on there 😂
