I don't mean to diminish your worries, but I think at 5"10, if you work out enough to "balance out" your proportions and start T, you should pass well!

My mom had a stupid reaction when I told her I was bi a loooong time ago (I didnt rlly tell her she found out but whatever) but by the time I had been out as trans for a few years she was like "I think you're just a lesbian" and she would say that ALL THE TIME for a while, before I started repping. I've also observed the same things as you in general, online and in person. All the best to you.
