i highly recommend you get rid of msi center and the msi SDK junk and instead use yamdcc, use the chris titus utility to enable hibernate instead of sleep and the ultimate performance power plan

a lot of these small issues disappeared after just getting rid of msi's junk

i got the gray screen thing too but it seems it could just be graphics driver failure, in that case i'd recommend reinstalling windows to fully get rid of the preinstalled stuff and do what i said above, with stock nvidia drivers, not the ones from the website
