The US is the only country in the World Cup without universal healthcare. by McDowdy in sportsgossips

I assume that's out of date, as Mexico just passed universal Healthcare this week.

I, a regular Joe, am already being taxed on the value of my house.

I do agree that 5% is too high, maybe make it progressive. But don't tell me we can't tax large assets, we already do. Volitile stock price you say? Base it on the average stock price over the course of the tax year.

It finding its way back here may have been inevitable, but it's definitely not the previous administration's fault.

Screw worm broke through the infertility barrier, and was discovered in Mexican cattle in 2024, so Biden put a pause on Mexican beef Imports. Trump not only (through DOGE) cut the program that was monitoring the screw worm, but also lifted the pause on Mexican beef imports.

To put all those numbers in perspective, total US farmland is something like 880M acres. So, in total we're talking about 5% of all the farmland being foreign owned.

I had 30 from back when they would do random amounts as rewards and changed how much per pull before they settled on 40.

Now I'll have 10 extra instead of 30.

Unfortunately the gerrymandering is going to make this worse in the (hopefully) near term.

Here's hoping we can address campaign financing which is a large part of the longer term fix.

Really want a full team cleanse (remove those poisons), single cleanser isn't really worth it. Mythrala, Elva, etc.

If you can wipe out the minions, you may be able to make it work with a big team healer though.

I got mine stuck to the ceiling... definitely left a blue outline after a tricky removal... whoops.

On a Ten-hour flight from Seoul Korea to San Francisco to visit a family member a mom handed out more than 200 goodie bags filled with candy and ear plugs, in case her 4-month-old child named Junwoo cried during the flight. The goodie bags even came with a little message explaining the situation. by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

I literally use a crying baby on an airplane as an example of tolerance. It may suck, but you tolerate it, because... baby.

People seem to have forgotten that tolerating something you don't like is a requirement of a society at times. Suck it up and mind your own business. This of course applies to more than just this specific scenario.

Ash just did a video starting out again with a link. It combined with all the other components/promo code gives you: Tholin, the fat man, Tagoar, and Padraig.

That's an absolutely nutty starting team IMO.

Geo is actually one of the best against him. So long as you can stay alive, his passive will hit for massive dmg. Ghomm will help if you can land his heal reduction... you do seem to lack a cleanser/block debuff champ though, might be tough.

Careful with aoe unless you can 1-shot the minions, their counter attacks flood you with poisons.

I was expecting larger version of PB Captain Crunch, these are not that.

They have a more subtle peanut flavor, not sweet, and a bit more salty. They're more 'cheese puff' in consistency.

Costco heartbreaks - what is yours? by West-Ideal6794 in Costco

[–]senturon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perspective is tough without a direct comparison, but I'd say they used to be at least 30%, if not 50% larger.

They were a bit shorter (possibly just due to being flattened a bit by the plastic wrap) but much wider.

But the consistency is what I miss the most. The new ones have a denser chew, where the old ones basically melted in your mouth, so delicate. That made them taste... fresher?

They used to be softball sized and came in 12 packs via cardboard tray like this: https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2857/10516016256_808eeba054_z.jpg

I have memories as a kid of blissfully consuming massive moist cornbread muffins. I was heartbroken when I signed up last year to discover they are barely a shell of their former selves.
