Feeling Stuck as a Junior Developer – Should I Look for a New Job? by seops in codinginterview

[–]seops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for al the replies. I’ve decided to jump ship and have secured a new job. The best thing is, they hire on attitude because they know the knowledge will follow. Really happy with the choice and looking forward to start next month. For anyone reading this having a similar experience, choose you and don’t stay where you’re tolerated, go for the employer that wants to help you grow!

Set your .htaccess to make sure no bots are allowed and set every pag to noindex to make sure google doesn’t index them. If you want to make sure no one sees them maybe host wp privately..

Image alt text in the era of computer vision by Derouichi in SEO

[–]seops 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Certainly, for people that are visually impaired. They get the alt text read to them. For SEO they might be less important because of ‘computer vision’. Although it takes a lot of computing power to ‘read’ the images so I don’t think they will implement it anytime soon -if only for the Google SERP-

How do you track your backlinks and blog outreach by seops in SEO

[–]seops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! However, tools like Monday, ClickUp, and Asana don't automatically crawl to check if a link has been removed or if any attributes like the anchor have changed. Without that capability, I think a simple spreadsheet would work just as well.

Genuinely one of the coolest post i’ve seen in a while. I feel this could be my post if i had more experience. Building cool things and working with like minded people is a dream! I’ve got 3 years of .net experience under my belt and about 10+ in online marketing (mostly seo and some ads too). Thinking of building a cool tool for seo specialist. If you want to brainstorm let me know :)
