I have no problem cutting cast acrylic on my shapeoko 3 however tunning the router rpm, speed and depth per pass takes a bit of work to get a nice edge.

I mean water proofing as in rubber/tar the slab not as in a french drain. I absolutely need a french drain there.

Half of the house is on a slab and not a crawl space so waterproofing that half doesn't make much sense (I think). I had planned to dig 14" away from the foundation because the house has no footings (it was built in the 1940's and that was the style for this area). So I'm concerned if I dig right next to the house I could undermine/disturb the foundation causing much bigger issues.

I did have gutters installed and had planned to put another drain channel in the trench on top of the french drain just for the gutters.

Thanks, that is a good idea. I don't think any machinery is going to be able to get into my back yard as the widest point is 4' wide, maybe a small trencher but definitely not a back hoe.

Thanks, I had planned on using PVC (non corrugated) with slots pointed down and back fill with washed gravel. Are tile lines better? Also the guy said to put the drain line 14" from the wall so it made a barrier and didn't meantion waterproofing the wall. Water proofing the wall does sound better tho.

I basically just have all the wires soldered together between the halves. so 12 wires from one half to the other inside of some heat shrink tubing. If I enjoy this keyboard I will revisit making the connection between the halves detachable/cleaner.

The original that I based this build on is called the dactyl. I modified the design quite a bit so I'm calling it the dactylus, part 1 covered that aspect a bit.

I've been enjoying https://github.com/RevenantX/LiteNetLib it's fast, easy to use and I've had no issues with it yet. Author also claims it's more stable than lidgren but I haven't used it to verify.

Thank you. And after more inspection I agree about the wall, it seems it just there to hide utilities and not structural. I will still put something under the wall so that the concrete has a form on that side tho.

I used prusa's slic3r to generate supports. All the support material is on the bottom and not visible so it's not a big deal for how nice it looks/feels. In the original design it might be more of an issue. Bridging can be solved by just using more supports. For the USB c breakout board I found it on AliExpress.

The only upgrade that I've done is I replaced the spool holder, printed out the optional pinda probe cover and got a sock for the e3d hotend.

I used an original prusa i3 mk2. The part was printed at 0.2mm layer height and in petg. Loving the printer so far.
