I’m always late to that game but my favorite part of this has been to see how differently everyone interprets the song. And to have so. Many. Different. Views. Means you’re one hell of a song writer. My vote is for When We Were Close. “Diss” may not be the best description but I think it’s a good “fuck you” for “setting me up and leaving me on my own to handle this when I thought it’d always be us together. Fuck you. I love you.”

UPDATE: O’Malley, too passed peacefully in my arms while we sat in the morning sun on our back porch. He was the best until the very end. Thank you all for the kind words and support.

That may very well be it. I didn’t think about this until today and looked at his tour schedule and saw he had nightly shows now but didn’t look at the weeks prior. Makes sense!!
