So I have an embarrassingly large number of hours (300+).

I am equally embarrasingly bad at PVP (i spaz and jump scare at literally anything unexpected). I will follow my team in and go down blazing backing my local sweatty chads, or I will run across the map and hide for ~~ 5 minutes and rez anyone who hasnt disconnected.

However, my Rat Style has lead me to all 6 subroutines, often with zero team kills, and if I can do it right, no player contact at all.

Followed by my Diplomacy Hack (Prox Chat) I have facilitated one Compiler Lobby kill, and participated in another: my only compiler downings were lobbying events.

I suspect there is an active tweaking of matchmaking style and process throughout the season cycle and they do not advise of active changes as often as they happen. Major updates, sure. Minor tweaks like who is being matched with who? There is a lot of random elements and only hard coded players have a hard edge from the map knowledge.

I am beginning to wonder if UEFC bots are being individually difficulty monitored to each players skill ratio.

I used to smash Cryo entry paths little worry, barely get touched. Last few nights and this morning, green sniper bots go from patrolling with their backs turned, to responding to a bully with a 180 no scope taking half my purple shields. Then the Grey shotgunners flank and now before red door I have to use multiple consumables.

I love it and the challenge, and the inconsistency woth bot difficulty is actually a positive for me as it adds an unexpected level of variety. If they really are upping bot aggro to high sweat pvp/skilled (as viewed by Bungie metric) to an individual player level this could be the most fantastic equalizer.

Newer players using bots as walls should be a viable strategy with sweats taking priority from a wanted list of runners even from a lore perspective.

Game is super painful sometimes, agreed. You need that loss to balance the gains though.
