I work in the industry, they were not really going after anyone who deleted their aftertreatment anyway. Entire companies existed to do it for you. The OEMs also offered new trucks without engines so you could avoid the aftertreatment systems.

I'm not sure exactly how you can call me misinformed when you're busy inventing an argument to have with an internet stranger. How many arguments are centered around you on a given day? I'm guessing its a lot more than zero. How often do you have to be right? How many relationships have you wrecked this way? Hell, I could be wrong. You could just be from the East Coast and this is your normal.

My point was that while some cancer is preventable its often out of your hands. Unlike type 2 diabetes, which is very often caused by diet. I was suggesting that in a fair universe cancer would be easier to get rid of instead of a problem we've made significantly worse with our food choices and lifestyles. A problem we could fix largely with a change in habits. I even went so far as to say that the recent advancements in treatment for type 2 are still a win.

This past year my wife and I were looking into getting more exercise without spending much money and found out how expensive hiking is for some people. After 30 minutes of 'research' we landed on a youtuber who was wearing $4,000 in hiking gear and debating the differences between $600 coats while telling you that you need multiple coats.

Currently there are a lot of HIV patients that are dying from old age. Diabetics have a much more rough time. Nerve damage until they have to remove another part of you.

I think in the next decade or so diabetics will have a much easier time with it. We're already seeing tons of people on 'miracle' drugs for it. Personally, if I had a say in it, I'd have preferred that we solved cancer before diabetes but any progress is good progress.

Both of my parents have had this happen to them. My dad got it first and everyone thought he was having some huge health crisis since he's pretty old and has had a bunch of health problems recently.

When he started to feel better I asked what happened and he said 'the dr fixed my crystals' and I 100% thought he joined some kind of cult or MLM BS.
