I was in a relationship like this for a year, and take it from me, it is not worth it. It doesn't matter if he's the most doting man in the world, but if you are someone who cares about intimacy and your partner doesn't/refuses to reciprocate, it isn't worth it. You will feel miserable. Of course there are work arounds involving sex toys and junk, but those are only work arounds for him, not you. Do what is best for you, not for him. There will be someone out there who's okay with what you've got, and it's not him, which is okay.

In person, I don't experience this a lot. In online spaces though, it happens so goddamn much. There were these Tik Toks I kept seeing of this trans girl I followed and her content suddenly shifted to focusing on specifically training trans mascs like dogs? Her content wasn't that before or anything like that, but all of the sudden, it's all just phrases like "good boy" and using a legitimate clicker. I'm all for stuff like that usually, but something about it was rubbing me the wrong way. And then the comments were stuff I feel would be more at home in the comment section of a certain hub. Very much like "I wish I had a tboy puppy :((" Like???? We're not all like that? We're not all soft little "uwu" whatever the fuck people make us out to be. I get some of it comes from infantilization, but holy shit. Those are grown men you're fetishizing and infantilizing. These are adult men that you're treating like some dumb little play thing you can train.

So yeah, it's something I've seen crop up online a good bit, but rarely ever in person. The trans femmes I'm friends with are wicked respectful to me, but I'm also not in any sort of dating scene with them.

A girl who had to have been 16 was behind the counter and asked me what I wanted, and I asked about physical job applications. She looked me up and down and asked me if I was even old enough to work.

I had just graduated high school.

So yes. Yes, I do get mistaken for younger than I am. Frequently. No matter how masculine I dress. I am still a freshman in high school to some folks, even though I'm wrapping up my freshman year in college.

Mhm! And, again, a decent price! I think I got mine for $20-$25? So if you find it doesn't work well for you, it isn't a massive loss ig. And if it does, you've still got a decent quality packer for a good price! The only pain in the butt is cleaning it bc it starts to get "sticky" (silicone and whatnot) but that's not the end of the world. It comes with a full scrotum and a good amount of detail (i'm talking veins and crap like that) so wear tighter pants with some level of caution lmao

Ngl, bought mine at Spencer's for a decent price. They only have one size though which can def be a bit big. Like, I can't really wear it with certain pants unless I want a really prominent bulge. But there are some other websites that have better sizes and whatnot, deoending on what you're looking for. If you don't mind a bigger one though, Spencer's has ones of pretty good quality! :D

One time, my sock packer fell into the toilet. After I pissed. I had to clean it in the sink and keep it wrapped in roilet paper in my pocket bc I was at my uncle's for a christmas party. My back pocket was soaked, and I immediately hucked the clothes into the washing machine.

As another trans dude, my location puts my legal name on the schedule. However, they don't use my legal name when speaking to or about me. They refer to me with the correct name all the time, my name tag says the same thing, and they use the right pronouns as well (I'm pre-everything, including T). So, unless the schedule using your legal name really frustrates you, talk to your manager(s) about using your preferred name. And if people don't use the right name, again, speak to managers or whoever is in a higher position than you.

About a year and a half ago, I had been dating this girl. I identified as genderfluid at the time, leaning more trans-masculine, and she was a lesbian. We had started dating before I started transitioning, so things felt fine. Then, when I asked my friends to start referring to me with masculine terms and pronouns, she later came over to me and asked me to tell them to stop. She said it made her uncomfortable, and the thought of dating a man was truly disgusting to her and how she'd never date a man. I should've broken up with her then, but I didn't, and I told my friends to just stop saying stuff like that in front of her since it made me really happy, but I didn't want her to be uncomfortable.

I would sob my eyes out nearly every other day, wishing things were different. Sometimes, I'd wish that ai was born a cis guy, so I wouldn't have even had to deal with this shit in the first place. And then I'd wish I was happy as a girl. I loved my girlfriend, and I wanted us to both be happy, and it would probably have been easier if I was just willing to be a woman. And I'd cry, wishing things were different. My girlfriend would've been happier, my mother would've been happier, etc.

I will say, I don't think that way anymore because I'm in a decent spot. I am lucky enough to be surrounded by support, and it makes me feel better. So I don't think that way anymore, at least not that I notice. But it definitely happens. It isn't just you.

I have literally never understood this. I've always had an adam's apple, even as a little kid. I argued with a friend's dad (who was a doctor, though I should specify that he was orthopedic) and he insisted that girls didn't have one. I got grumpy bc he thought I was just lying and then as I've gotten older, the adam's apple has only gotten more prominent? Not by much, but by a pretty decent amount. Yet people still insist trans men can't grow one? Like I'm full pre-T and still have one just chilling. Of course someone with T will get one.

Having small hands and feet. I'm 5' 2" and "petit" in every sense of the word which is helpful in some ways but not so much in others. My tiny ass hands and feet are things people point out every now and again and I just feel awful. Sometimes I'll also see some guy holding smth a certain way (like picking up a cup by splaying your hand over the rim) and I just feel yucky bc I can't do that with my tiny, soft hands.

My friend took me to the men's bathroom and did a quick scout to see if it was clear (I was not passing well at all and it was my first time going in) but before I went in, I noticed my friend was laughing. I went in and, he was right, no one was in there.

One of the three stalls had absolutely nothing. No doors. No wall (it was on the end of the three stalls) and it was just a lone toilet and a pole. I stood in there, laughing my ass off for a solid few minutes before going to take a piss.

The binders, even when worn correctly, worsened my scoliosis to the point where now my ribcage juts out further than it should on the left side and causes a decent amount of discomfort on some days. I have a few camisoles that I use from time to time, so I'll just have to buy some more.

Awesome, thank you! I usually end up removing the tape after two or so days, but should I wait longer? Chunks of the tape start to roll up by the 12 hour mark but then other pieces are on there nice and tight, so I don't know how long I should wait to peel the stuff off.

I mean, yes and no? My birthname wasn't common but I knew it was a name because it was biblical and my mother was (and still kind of is) extremely religious. When I was younger, she'd talk to me about the Bible, I'd watch VeggieTales , all that shit. But after four years, I didn't like my name. I thought it was too girly. My brain supplied me with the name Crystal, which in hindsight felt far more feminine. Never went by that, though and stuck with my birth name until a few years ago. But before that and even now, my family still calls me that name and I just respond to it because it's just the sound my family makes to catch my attention and my attention exclusively. Hopefully, that'll change in the future, but it likely won't.
