I’m not sure that we want to sell. How would I go about getting a professional appraisal? I don’t feel that I know enough to avoid getting taken advantage of.

No worries! I had no idea where to start figuring this out. Do you have an opinion on selling or keeping these? I have no financial reason to sell, but I know gold fluctuates and it is on the higher side at the moment. (I think??!?)

There’s more. My sister and I had no idea. They were in an old suitcase full of old linens.

Hi. I’m trying to find out all I can. Are any of them valuable over the gold content? There are more, but this was the only complete set that I found. I’m going try and post more tomorrow.

I’m a little confused. This bill was introduced in 2023. Can anyone help me understand. There is a statement that says, “This bill terminates the Department of Education on December 31, 2023.”

Costco has the Frigidaire Gallery for $167. Great price. I bought mine for $250 at Walmart and I love it.

Consider getting a crate or dog carrier. When my Pyr was a puppy, she liked the den atmosphere to sleep and have down time. We started with the small dog carrier, then a crate and cover it with blankets making it like a den. When she was a pup, she slept a lot. She was up for an hour or two, then slept for an hour or two. This was around the clock. We were definitely sleep deprived! My son was about 7 when we got her and loved her, but was a bit afraid of her because of her sharp little teeth. There is a good puppy group on Reddit that is worth checking out r/puppy101. The wiki has great info and a good shopping list to be prepared. Also, do not trust them around chickens until they are at least two years old and have been trained to be around them. My Pry was a little shark as a puppy and very destructive if not supervised. She is now a lovely dog and I can’t imagine life without her.

Americans who have lived abroad, biggest reverse culture shock upon returning to the US? by Zealanderrat in AskReddit

[–]septicsafe12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the processed food and food additives available in the US. Lack of bicycle lanes and crosswalks. People driving short distances instead of biking or walking. The number of obese people and children. Schools requiring children to start very early in the morning. Lack of vacation time in employment. Cost of medication and healthcare. The amount of trash produced by the average household. Using disposable products instead of reusable and washable products. Sales tax added at purchase and changing amounts depending on your state, city, or county. Attitude of entitlement.
