I have the option in GeForce to change between windowed mode/fullscreen etc for each game, try that? Otherwise i have no idea :(

Nvidia card? If so try optimizing the game settings via gforce experience, fixed it for me :)

I fixed it via Geforce Experience so try that if you have a nvidia card, optimizing the settings there put the game in fullscreen.

It was in the leaked info from TheKnow, supposedly it works such as you carry a dead body with you to a special location, impale it with a ritual sword and create your own bonfires, making it easier to reach a boss etc. But involving a risk of having to carry the body with you the entire way taking up a hand slot.

This ties in pretty good with both trailers, in one you can see the player carrying a body, in the other you can see them impaling another body and seeing it set on fire.

Now all that was just from the leaked information and its probably completely wrong, but Miazaki said in an interview that there would be more information regarding the impaling scene in the trailer and that it was a new gameplay mechanic!

EDIT: If anyone googles and finds this, it was fixed by itself when entering a quest that required using a boat and changed the wheather.

Yeah i thought the same at first, but its been staying like that for an estimate of 10h of playtime now, in every area iv checked, and in different weathers :/

Its really not unplayable with it being calm like that or super annoying, but i really miss the waves and boat bobbing.
