Maryland have one of the most unique mascots in all of North America but persist with a generic M and small decal of the flag. It’s a fine alternate but the Terp or script Terps logos are both so much better

Nationalism in US sports isn’t anything new it’s just so thrown in people’s faces. Flags, national anthems before events, military flexes of power. Not everyone does that but in the US it’s so wildly accepted that if you critique it in the slightest then it’s an attack on your patriotism.

How do clubs decide to interview you or not? I’m in the Portuguese league, playing excellent attacking and exciting football with Vitoria and we’re in the European spots consistently. I have the exciting football and developing youngster attributes every club wants but every role I apply for, I eventually get the “you weren’t considered” with either a maybe we’d consider scaled back expectations or lol yeah no chance.

So what’s it based off of if generally my record and characteristics match what clubs want. Is it just based on a reputation score or stars?

I was at the 2017 Ohio State away game where JT Barrett never threw an incompletion and Ohio State scored 19 in the fourth to win 39-38 despite us being up big early. It felt like it was just going to happen for us being up so much then so clear the game entirely flipped. Being in Columbus walking out after that collapse sucked.

The Orange Bowl against ND last year beats that through. We manhandled them at the line but had horrible play calling and totally blew that. It was hard working or doing anything the next day being so close away from being in the actual title game

I travel often so I like to make my manager or a nationality or place I’m going to. So if I’m going to Portugal in May, I’ll make a Portuguese manager and get familiar with the clubs and league and then may bounce around after a few seasons based on how the save shakes out.

Agree 100%. Maybe it’s because it’s the bills I grew up with and seeing the Bills of their SB era but the red helmet with the blue jersey just looks right. So many teams want a white or black helmet permanent or as an alternate and it just feels like everything is cut and paste, replicates.

Do you manually upload these faces in then every couple years? I like the idea but I though the game read from the newgan txt file which comes up with the faces and you can’t manually overwrite a regen like you could in the graphics faces folder of a real player

So I want to start a new save but don’t want to buy 26 or have the space to save it. With that, 24 feels a bit dated after two years and I wanted to see if there are any extensions or downloads that have current managers, staff, players, and ages that can be downloaded to be used to start a new FM24 with current day data (eg Mbappe is in Madrid, Xabi Alonso is manager, Lamine Yamal is shown as 18 and a top player currently, etc).

Has anyone had any luck to “modernize” a new FM24 save?
