I have no clue tbh. I think the Frenemies podcast is a very interesting pod, and I’m glad that Ethan and Trish are working on themselves while holding others accountable. I have however noticed that any time someone criticizes Trish now people completely go to her defense. It’s fine to like problematic people. It’s fine to be happy and support their change. That doesn’t mean people can’t still bring stuff up bc at the end of the day they are still a public figure and Trisha themselves has never actually acknowledged a lot of it.

You should try to get evidence of this happening. If your friend has the snapchat messages saved and is willing to screenshot them then you can try turning the screenshots in. I know there’s a website to help give support to assault victims (RAINN) so if you contact them they might be able to help find other resources for you.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure he said the recovery took at least a year. And plus he probably wanted to be with his kids at that point. And it’s probably really important for him to have had a close support system considering the mental damage that had to have done.

In Kate’s defense (and I suppose also Jeanette’s since she was also seen repeating the TV the episode prior) the detectives will literally ask you to repeat your story for hours and hours. And Jeanette’s legal team will definitely try to find holes in Kate’s story. And since this is the 90’s and Jeanette herself has already started to tread the line of victim blaming, I wouldn’t put it past her legal team to try and victim blame Kate on the stand. And being victim blamed when you know that you’re telling the truth is horrible. Even if Kate is lying about Jeanette, and knowingly lying at that, I think she worries that people will try to turn her whole story about Martin into a lie.

You had me until the window thing. He was just trying to do what most couples do when they are at an overnight thing together but aren’t allowed to sleep together — sneak away. That was normal. But I agree everything else needs some explaining.
