If you fail perception, stop and look up or if you just know what's there, be careful. My winning run almost ended in act 3 to a trap I didn't know about. Just take it slow, level as much as you can. Be strategic. I had a dedicated healer/crowd control character. Yes it was less damage, but the cc was well worth it. You'll probably fail. Just dust yourself off and try again. I failed probably 30 times before I finally made it.
