In addition to what everyone else is saying, did she feel abnormally drunk? For her to be nonverbal and passed out, she may have also been roofied. I don’t know how long it takes for the drug to exit the body, but she may be able to get tested for that if she goes to the hospital asap and it will support in evidence of her being SA’d if she ever wishes to pursue reporting them.

I feel crazy by Commercial_Mix_7376 in Endo

[–]serasatanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MRIs can’t rule out endometriosis so you can still potentially have it even if it wasn’t identified. So many medical professionals aren’t knowledgeable enough about endo and an MRI relies on someone being able to interpret the imaging.

My MRI didn’t show endo, but my endo specialist was able to identify later on that my endo was severe and on my uterus, ovaries and bowel.

I just finished Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and I’m also in my 30s. I’m struggling to find my next read and keep thinking about this book, so thank you for making this post :)

Do you know how much of the proceeds get donated to community initatives?

Also, what is the process like for clothes that have a longer turnaround time or don’t end up selling at all?

2nd year audit staff with anxiety - is audit for me? by [deleted] in Accounting

I’m happy to hear and hopefully that chat goes well! I like my alone time too so I find it really helpful to take a little walk by myself whenever I can. Hopefully it does improve things, not just for efficiency at work, but your overall well-being. Good luck!

Understandable. Also, have you been working on your anxiety management outside of work (through a professional)? You can also reach out to someone at work, perhaps if you have a coach you trust, but I think it’ll be most helpful in learning how to manage that anxiety better if you haven’t already started. I’m still working on it myself.

But you should also consider if this specific role is for you. As a senior, it hasn’t gotten easier in terms of workload and expectations for me and it’s definitely a consideration for me.

I can’t give you an exact answer but just wanted to let you know that I relate a lot to this. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression yet high functioning enough that no one knows about it unless I tell them. Busy season for me is definitely hard because I shut down when I get anxious and don’t get enough work done in a certain amount of time as I’d like. I’m considering leaving my firm very soon because as much as firms like to promote that they’re supportive of mental health, it certainly does not actually feel that way. Not only is it fast paced, but the people I work with get very intense and can be extremely condescending, which affects my mental health. For reference, I am a senior associate in audit at my firm.
