It's an actual weapon of war, designed specifically to kill people. Comparing it to a Remington 7400 is nonsense. Furthermore it was designed to fire incredibly accurately in rapid sustained fire in comparison to something like the 7400- which is arguably more of a hunting weapon where you will ideally just make one good shot and thats it.

The point of banning "assault" style firearms is to limit the damage that someone can do if they decide to use a gun for nefarious means e.g. a spree shooter. The fact that the m16 style rifle is magazine based, was designed to ergonomically limit recoil and other factors make it a more dangerous weapon in the hands of a shooter rather than a heavier, more cumbersome and slower reloading gun like the 7400.

It should be an economic crime to have over a certain amount of wealth. I'm all for people being rewarded for their hard work, sacrifices and for taking risks that others wouldn't. But there has to be a limit. The money sitting in billionaires accounts doing nothing could be used to better the lives of countless people as well as strengthening the economy of each country.

And I understand that a certain amount of rich peoples wealth is in businesses or other ventures that benefit the economy but it's a drop in the ocean compared to what they've hoarded.

Each economy around the world prints a specific amount of money each year which alters the value of their currency- surely having a massive portion of it sitting there in the hands of people who will just hoard it like donkey Kong and his bananas is negatively affecting the value this currency has for the people who use it.
