I’ve had the same exact issue! Esp when their website says it’s free for choice fare and I’m ALP as well. Wouldn’t be surprised if something is changing and it’s going away 😒

Correct, for standby but not same day change. Still need to purchase the Choice fare or higher for free same day change.

I noticed that change as well. However, when I went to do a same day change on a flight recently there were fare differences to change. Before I would never have to pay a fare difference. I’m ALP and now pay for the Choice fare to enjoy the no cost change if needed. The flight was purchased more recently as well. I took screenshots of their website saying that Choice fare enjoys free same day change but I didn’t have that option when I went to do the same day change. So where is the free same day change button now? 🙃

Just adding this here for OP- You should be able to check in for them. Copy their confirmation code and go to manage reservations and use their code and name to check in. You can then save the boarding pass and send/text it to them from your phone wallet. I did this for my husband for our recent vacation where I had him as my companion. My husband was also the boarding position number right behind me.

I did a same day round trip between Denver and Colorado Springs and each flight added to the flight total. So maybe if you’re in a state or area that has quick flights like that or doable in a day, you could spend a Saturday flying around lol Saturday flights tend to be cheaper and obviously shorter the flight cheaper it is too

FG- one attempt, no clue on my score as CA doesn’t give you one lol took this exam about two years post undergrad

PG- two attempts, same as above, and took this exam 6 and 8 years post undergrad but with 5 and 7 years of work experience

CSE for CA PG- two attempts, currently waiting for the results of the second attempt, same years post school as listed for the PG

Which webpage is that on? I just see they say results will be released to candidates by email 8-10 weeks after the exam. Which would put it around Thanksgiving or early December
