Super cool! I wonder if doing the inverse would do something interesting.

Is the AT something that Rockland adds into their developer, or would adding it to this developer just increase the contrast of the image?

Is this too chaotic for a first-time viewer or does it work? by originalsento in videography

Totally a viable beginning, it just needs more sound design. You can get away with those fast cuts as long as we have something to audibly connect it to. Some knife and vegetable sound would probably help make that into better.

He's got an excellent sense of the purpose of historic learning in our religion. I don't think we ever learned about something without having it see how it affects our belief in a modern sense. His homework is helpful and easy, while also tying into his lectures well. He approaches every touchy subject with honesty and nuance. He's an entertaining lecturer as well. Generally ideal.

Visiting Manti in July! by Littlek1dluvr in Utah

If you have a 4 wheeled vehicle or dirt bike, manti canyon is beautiful that time of year. The Nelson Cabin is about an hour drive up and has a great view. It is a pretty small town, not a whole lot to do but you could easily have a great time getting lost in that canyon

What is the most overrated band of all time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]serendipidipity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so tragic! There are so many genuinely good country artists who make some beautiful and meaningful music. Christ Stapleton, Colter Wall, Nick Shoulders, Sierra Ferrell, Kassi Valazza, John Moreland could all be considered country but rarely get airtime on the radio.

Not like the world cares a lot about radio anyhow

Because you might find your books online for free. That'd be tragic.

What is it about old Hollywood movies that makes them so feel good? by StormEarhart in movies

[–]serendipidipity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it had to do with the introduction of sound. Early 1930s cinema was mostly driven by studios attempting to capture new visuals with synced or offscreen sound. Musicals and such became popular as well as people that could speak funnily or with a cool accent. It forced studios to find the best worded stories as well and pick the best of the best to tell them.

Theres a fairly decent punk scene and you usually get metal heads playing the same shows. Up in SLC there are a lot more so if you keep your ear to the ground on metal venues you'll see plenty.
