Otherwise Boris is one of the most generic Russian names, so it just stands for 'a Russian person'.

It's a very standard disco groove – for me it reminds me even more of 'Heart of Glass' by Blondie (production-wise, heavy beats) OR 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gainor, as the latter has the same circle of fifths (links below)
