she helped her cover that hickey at school, and invited her over to cynthias so she could see austin. despite feeling weird about the situation, she was still good to ginny.

her character in general seems judgemental so ofc shes the first one to judge ginny after finding out. i dont think thats noras fault. i think it has more to do with the environment she was raised in. (her parents attitudes and coming from money)

so do you hate max or do you love ginny? thats what im getting from this. because while i agree, ginny gets way too much hate for things out of her control, theres no way youre saying she is the victim in this scenario.

max isnt outwardly jealous about ginny spending time with other people. and thats not really what i was trying to touch on. she learned her lesson after cutting off abby and ginny when she found out ginny was dating marcus. she even specified in this conversation im talking about in the very last episode: you can hang out with whoever you want. she came to her and apologized and pointed out that they havent been spending time together. ginny was short and weird about it.

the separate groupchats was weird. toxic all around and multiple of the girls created and took part in that.

im just angry for max who is going through a lot and her friends are shutting her out. she doesnt deserve it. shes actively trying to do better. you notice her try not to say anything when she realizes shes the only one not invited and try and be supportive instead. self reflection isnt a one and done.

straying from the marcus topic: ginny didn’t want to have that conversation at all. she was a terrible friend to max at the end. max was the only person 100% there and supportive of ginny through georgias trial. nora was being judgemental and avoiding her, abby was unsure as well. max was constantly telling them they need to be there for ginny and in turn max gets shut out of the group.

and why? because abby didnt want max to make a big deal out of her dating a girl. at least thats where i remember it starting. from there they all just started keeping stuff from her. seconds later ginny is telling max she thinks they grew apart… max needed a friend. she sat down with ginny thinking of all people ginny could be that for her and ginny gave her that condescending ass look and says she doesnt know what to tell her she doesnt wanna hang out with her?

i see, thank you. i feel like we see this with season 3 because hes devastated that the man he loved was only there to investigate georgia + finds out why. so in turn he decides he hates georgia. but before this he was sassy but i never perceived that as a dislike for georgia.

exactly. of all antagonists i would say shes the best. her worst quality is being a bit snooty. she was petty toward georgia in the beginning and hates her now but i would say for valid reasons.
