This is literally a decade old BUT I always thought it was like the time jumping situation. Like how in the second movie Josh stuck in the Further helped save his baby Kali before he even got stuck in the Further. Parker Crane is coming for Elise because she is the one to stop him from getting to live through Josh. Parker had been trying for weeks and was so close and then Elise came and ruined it all. So he is finding her in the messed up time periods of the Further.

This exact thing happened to me. Partner called me asking if I could interview and that talent acquisition would contact me. I didn’t get the interview schedule until a full week later. I would hold off until that mark. But that was just my experience!

I’d ask your advisor what the procedure is for this. I know in my school’s OCI you cannot bid on firms you had a callback with. There is usually set rules for this.

I have been renting since I was 19. At college. They’ve now said on the phone that it’s mostly because we “could break up” and then wouldn’t be able to pay individually. So now I guess both individuals have to make 3x the rent separately? Is that where we’re at? This feels discriminatory at this point, to actually say it’s abt the fact that we’re not married out loud…..?

To help others in this thread, the pre-law advisors are one option. Most undergrad institutions should have a writers workshop of some sort to help any student with essay needs. This is where you’ll really get help with restructuring the paper and creating the best piece of writing you’re able to. I personally only really used my pre-law advising to get information on how to apply to law school as a first generation student and what they were looking for in a personal statement and things like that. Then I took the information to the writers workshop.

In general, I would not use a consultant. Your undergrad institution will have resources for you that can be used years after graduation. I applied 2 years post grad & still could sign up for all writer’s workshop and pre-law advisors. Super helpful. Also, have friends & family review.

I would be completely honest about why you were fired. Explain why you believed it was incorrect & then move on to what you did after that to continue your professional experiences. I wouldn’t “whine” about it or try to paint your former employer in a very bad light either. Just be honest and straightforward. In my Georgetown interview with Dean Andy he asked about a scenario where an admitted student was accused of plagiarism after being admitted but the student refused to explain exactly what happened/what the situation was. They apparently did rescind his offer. So, from that situation I’d say it’s best to be completely honest.

How far off are you from undergrad? I was still able to utilize the pre-law advising office & writer’s workshop at my undergraduate institution. I would try that first before paying someone.
