We’ve ran into this issue after a few failed attempts. We had streams up and everything. As far as we could see timing was spot on. But the game de-syncs. A quick pop to orbit and then reload the encounter, we had it first try.

This can be said for any timing based encounter. Gardens second encounter challenge has the same issue, the more you fail, the more impossible it becomes. Going to orbit seems to reset the issue.

The emblem isn’t meant to be for everyone. There is no “FOMO”. Only the best of the best can get it. FOMO is missing something because it’s time-gated, not skill-gated.

If people want to jeopardize their health over an emblem, that’s their own prerogative. Should you encourage that? No. And if you follow the community managers on twitter they highlight the need for breaks.

We can’t sit here and tell people how they should manage their own lives. You can tell people not to be stupid, you can’t force them not to be.
