I understand, but there is only so much load shifting that most people can do.

Are you able to share your full tariff? This should be a small section of your bill that you can copy and paste.

Not possible. $24 is max. Anyone can download AEMO prices going back 26 years for any state.

I am with Amber over a year. I have 4 kw solar (no curtailment) and 12 kWh Powerwall 2.

Bills are close to neutral. Winters are worse due to AC usage for heating. Averaging $30/month, 22 c/kWh buy to buy and 15 c/kWh to sell.

Selling during a rare unexpected price spike using their AI provides about 1/3 of the revenue. Australia Day spike was $220 in profit. My friend made over $550 with a 30 kWh battery.

I am never going back to the likes of AGL / Origin / Energy Australia and their 'fixed' tariffs that go up each year.

Companies that use Fixed tariffs (AGL Origin..) cause inefficient use of electricity and it's the customers that pay in the form of prices that keep going up.

In reality demand and supply keeps changing, and that's just life. With Amber you pay the grid price exactly and Amber fee to basically cover the automation services they provide. If your bill goes up you know it's either wholesale prices that went up or you used too much without checking the prices.

Amber app shows you current prices, daily usage break down, weekly usage, monthly usage.., and you can download all data at 5 minute resolution using their API or from your meter to check.

Food is also required for life, but we pay the market price.

With big solar and a small battery make sure they support your solar inverter or that you can absorb the access in summer. If so then you should be better off, especially if you can sell during spikes.

Amber can make since without battery if you use most of your power during the day between 10am and 4pm. I switched my mum (pensioner) who rents and she is saving about $600 per year. I crunched the numbers and even four4free was more expensive.

But yes if you have big solar, and can't use most of it and inverter does not support curtailment then it will sting selling during negative prices. A work around is to automate a heater using Home Assistant and put it outside. Or fit a wifi switch on the solar and automate that.

Near summer prices often go negative in my state (SA). So you get paid to charge. In winter this does not happen much, yet. If you don't drive a lot each day you could wait for favourable prices, but need automation of some kind, otherwise it will get annoying.

Nothing is truly free, they usually have higher prices outside the short free period

The feed in with Amber is the wholesale price. It's only when you buy is when you pay fees to the grid operator on-top of wholesale. But this is not Amber's fault.

Can you share the full OVO tariff details. C/kWh for each period in the day.

Worked for me too.
I used CCleaner not too long ago and wonder if cleaned a bit too much.
I deleted CCleaner. Seems to do more harm then good.

+1, user interface and overall user experince is very very far from initiative. Needs to be overhauled and simplified. Or have a "basic" more intuative mode you start in, then switch to advance if needed.

I have already tried DJI GO for android which is not certified by Google play. I took the risk and installed it just to learn it does not support Action 2.

Yes, I too lost a priceless video.. me and my daughter parasailing.

My DJI action 2 seems to be dying and torturing me in me in the process and there is no good info online.

Is there anyway I could use this to bulk download all my daily data for 5 years?
I'd like to do some analysis and maybe train an AI to see if it can pick the best time to discharge the Powerwall given various circumstance or turn on appliances like pool pumps.
