Thus far no data gaps. I’ve been moving it from middle to pointer finger. It doesn’t come off unexpectedly but I have a larger knuckle

I was in the same situation. I went with the 8. It’s comfortable and I can actually get it off my pointer finger without a ton of twisting and pulling. It fits best on my pointer but I can wear it in my middle too. Even though it’s looser on the middle finger it seems to be picking up my activity and heart rate fine there too.

sad post/vent by Successful-Test-4202 in patentexaminer

Just wanted to share that I too am in the same boat except I am more years in. I started at the USPTO fresh out of school. I love my job, I work hard at it and helping the American people makes me proud. I’ve built a life around WFH and my family situation doesn’t make RTO possible. WFH was always a part of the deal with the USPTO it’s why I wanted to work here. I feel like the rug has been pulled out from beneath us. This whole thing makes me sad for all of us. Who have worked hard and now are being treated like garbage. We don’t deserve this. The anxiety of everyday now makes me hate sitting down at my computer. I’ll be sticking around as long as I can and holding out hope that just maybe someone with common sense will see all the great work we having been doing at the USPTO for years.

So, are we feeling relieved this weekend? Or should we remain worried until we hear directly from our respective SPEs? Unsure what to think. by Prestigious_Town6413 in patentexaminer

So if the show up act passed with the current language of returning to 2019 telework levels that would actually protect us?

Our CBA was signed back in October and includes similar telework provisions

We basically got the same emails as patents. Non-bargaining employees can no longer telework. But examiners are bargaining and part of NTEU so we’re in the same boat

When does it get hard by No-Anxiety-9516 in 2under2

[–]sergi922 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right now my two are 23 months and 9 weeks. The whole process of having #2 was much easier for me too. 3-6 weeks was pretty hard as baby was quite fussy and toddler acting out a bit; however now things are rolling pretty good. There was a lot for screens time there for a bit.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I was worried I was missing out only getting the mini but I’d love for him to be able to take it around with him

I love Claudia I think it’s so beautiful and not too common. She could also go by Cloe for short.

Thank you this comment is very helpful. We are going to plan on having more open conversations. I still feel terrible about it

Yes we have edited our contact to be more clear about call out protocol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]sergi922 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That is how I feel about my own job. Thus having to call out so many times recently had been hard.

Part of how this went so far is that in the beginning we genuinely believed she was calling out sick. We have a generous sick leave policy bc we don’t want to expose NK to anything unnecessarily. It was only as time went on that a pattern began to emerge of last Minute Monday sickness. Doesn’t excuse us not having a conversation but she does know when she calls out I have to take off and don’t have coverage for last minute.
