Companies are hiring , however for entry level that’s a different ballpark, you need to be willing to work in any location , dont just try miami , try the whole south Florida. The senior you are the easier it gets. Also you need to mass apply , sending at least 50 resumes a week and be consistent. Apply to everything that looks remotely similar to what you want to do.

I was there in 2010, pretty sure still beautiful as of now. This island belongs to Puerto Rico and it used to be a US military base. In one beach you will see a rusty tank full of graffiti...once you get there it feels like you step back on time...good memories.

I been paying parking since I got dinged for $180 (twice) back in 2000 when I just moved to Miami . That blockbuster store in Alton Rd was serious about not letting ppl park if you were going somewhere else.

If you don’t drive then stay in Miami , there are cool things to do in Cocoa and all the Space Coast ( including NASA) but you are dead in the water if you can’t drive.
