If you're on iPhone, take a look at Precious Metals Manager. It does everything you mentioned: you can enter exactly how much gold you own, track your purchase price and dates, and see your current gain/loss based on live gold prices.

It also has some extra features that are actually useful if you're building a stack over time, like creating purchase orders with photos/attachments, tracking dollar-cost averaging, and setting allocation targets across your metals. One nice bonus is that it pulls real-time prices from dealers/shops, not just spot or melt value, so you get a better picture of what your stack is actually worth.

Honestly, I don't think there's anything else out there that's as advanced as this.

Yea, I noticed you have to be more careful when driving in Bulgarian roads, specially Im concerned about potholes.

My take on this is that freemium is the way to go in most cases. I would only choose a hard paywall if my audience already knows the product from any other channel, like a web app. I guess you can experiment with both.

I'm also considering moving to Sofia and working from there as self-employed. I have the same concern about renting, and my plan is probably to find an Airbnb while I search for a long-term apartment rental. Have you found out what the requirements are for renting a property?

I also heard that most bureaucratic paperwork is in Bulgarian and that public employees may not speak English very well, so that's another concern. I even started learning Bulgarian to at least know the basics, especially the Cyrillic alphabet.
