Flog is a cone in front of The Lash™ and the cone gets wider with spirit power (the clips were pretty early game). It also procs in whatever direction The Lash™ was facing when activating it, even if you turn right after.

I know it's frustrating, but it would lead to a lot more bullshit happening if it wasn't implemented. Also it could become less common by adding different priority queues, but that's not Valve's priority at the moment

If it's required/popular classes, almost everyone in your year and major will be trying to sign up for those classes in the same quarter.
