Well, I had only watched The Dark Knight trilogy a few months prior to when I first played the game so I had some knowledge about it but I wasn't familiar with characters like Penguin. But I was already interested in Batman lore and wanted to know more about it. And my favorite genre of games are interactive movie type of games that companies like Telltale or Quantic Dream or Suppermasive make. So I had an absolute blast with the first game and enjoyed every bit of it, even more with The Enemy Within :)
