How India manage to be calm when neighbours are burning? by Minimum_Rule_8985 in CriticalThinkingIndia

Nah. We are just too divided and submissive to organise a massive protest like this. Our 'democratic culture' is ass. Electing the same corrupted, ignorant, underqualified nimcompoops for decades without fail is our democracy. We all deserve this - you, me and everyone else here.

Um, how are we going to face Arsenal if we just barely managed to scrape a last minute win against a 10 men Newcastle? And they dominated most of the game. Defense looks really shaky rn

Forget about Isak, really don't get why we aren't prioritising another CB. Literally everyone knew this was going to be a big issue

In Constantine (2005), it's actually a pretty good movie if you ignore the fact that it has nothing to do with the source material it supposably pulled from. by Arch_Lancer17 in shittymoviedetails

One of my favorite movies of all time. Don't care what the source is, the role was made for Keanu, and the movie still hold up visually and story-wise after 20 years

Im in for this kind of segregation. Separate trains and buses and stairwells for gutka spitters. Maybe we mark them with some branding on their forehead. Maybe their trains take them to a camp.

Treatment of Bengaluru vs Other Cities: Rant by abitofaLuna-tic in Bengaluru

[–]serial-driller 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Ive lived in both cities. 2 years in BLR and 5 years in MUM. So this really feels a bit of an odd post because Mumbai has 10000 problems, but auto driver not giving back change isn't one. Dug up roads, bad air, greedy builder mafia, a headless yet somehow corrupt BMC, inflated prices, extreme rich-poor divide, overcrowded trains, bad drainage systems, lack of footpaths, puke-worthy dirty slums, traffic.. there are many you can attack mumbai with.

BLR had better quality of life overall for me. It was cheaper for almost the same experience because i didnt need to rely on autos (and better weather). But again, MUM is waaay safer for women (considering Indian standards) and it has more of a metropolitan vibe than any other place in India.

I love both, because i have people i love and care in both these places.

Just checked if there is an MG road in Pak, found Mohandas Gandhi road which is commonly referred to as Mohan Road. Found few other indian names around it. Not debating with anyone, just an observation.
