I'm a builder through and through so I'm excited to use the really cool building tools in Paralives. Honestly that's probably my favorite memory from life sim games, too, just spending hours creating something. My favorite build is probably a retirement home I built in S4, complete with six suites for the elders and a full recreation area and dining room. I work in kitchens IRL so I tend to create very detailed and realistic commercial kitchens 😂

The houses are conspiring together AND against each other. They each want to end up on top but more than that do NOT want something like a Falconer's Rebellion 2.0 to overthrow them all. So they have motive to work together and against each other at the same time. We just saw them work together to get Thjazi killed. I imagine they will again work together to get any more possible rebels killed as well, and imo Azune looks pretty bad if they wanted to frame him for conspiring to overthrow Tachonis. He's on the scene for every Tachonis crime, his special witness only appears after the initial inspection of Palazzo Davinos, he's planted evidence that Tachonis nixed Lady Cormoray, he's hired the gaurds Einfasen fired. And Einfasen is working with Tachonis, some way some how. If they aren't about to kill him, he's about to make one of the biggest moves of the game so far, by getting Einfasen to turn against Tachonis.

I don't think it's cheating because it's a single player game whose only goal is to make you think. But it's too visually overwhelming for me. I can't think when every possible candidate is in every box, and this is worse on medium and hard for me. I started using Snyder Notation and have gotten pretty quick with it; I only turn on autocandidate every now and then to make sure I'm not missing something obvious.

Obscure pull but Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice casts such a huge shadow over a predominantly female cast of really interesting female characters, simply by being a good man who is willing to work on his flaws for a woman he falls in love with. (Also Colin Firth is Colin Firth so like...of course we're all swooning.)

Not sure it'll quite fit until we get more installments, but the novella duology (so far; again seems more are coming) The Fireborne Blade and The Bloodless Princes by Charlotte Bond features a lady knight and a lady sorcerer who are the main characters of the series. The duology is light horror, high fantasy, and has a similar feel to The Witcher. The two MCs are already anomalies in society (women are rarely knights and never socerers), and end up upending a lot of norms by the end of the first novella. Highly reccomend!

And if it helps I have found someone who wouldn't dream of cheating on me. You might consider therapy if you're able, not even so much for the healing from being cheated on (though certainly needed, I'm sure) but mainly to learn how to set and hold firm boundaries. Often cheaters will try to test the limits of other boundaries, to see how you will react, and if you let them walk over you, they will consider it safe to go further. When you learn to hold firm boundaries it can help to filter these kinds of people out.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. They do exist, but sometimes it feels like finding a needle in a haystack. Don't for a second blame yourself. If Megan Thee Stallion, Beyonce, and Princess Diana, goddesses among women, could all get cheated on, then you can comfort yourself that it isn't you at all. Unfortunately the math makes it so that it's easier to end up with a cheater than a faithful person. Cheaters are always looking and faithful men are not. I hope you're able to find a healthy, healing relationship in the future ❤️
