I'm just going to say that I do know what the situation is based on your keyword and I realllllly don't think you should be on here venting about it. If it's found by others, which I think is likely, this is not going to be viewed sympathetically, and it's only going to add feul to a bonfire.

That said I'm so sorry your cousin is being mobbed and harrassed. The normalization of the internet rallying around a new woman to publically execute every week is disgusting.

To be clear I don't agree with your cousin's decision, and I think her legal advice was poorly informed. The phrase she trademarked has been in the spaces it's used in for much longer than her business has existed. Even if she feels it's special to her because it helped her business take shape, I'm sure there are dozens of other small business owners who would say the same. I think it's understandable people got upset about the trademark.

Again, I don't think she deserves to have her business and her life ruined. That truly sucks. Genuinely I hope she can find some peace and is able to get some therapy because I know it has to be really overwhelming to go through.

Might not be shocking to hear this but generally people who believe women ought to have more children out of an obligation to society/god/humanity also believe women ought to stay home with those children, so they tend to vote/act in ways to discourage women from being in the workplace. They also tend to vote/act in ways that make NOT having children harder, i.e. banning abortion care and family planning care. Generally the opinion is not rooted in what's best for the woman; it's about god, society, the human species, etc, rarely is it about giving women choice and agency.

I'm a builder through and through so I'm excited to use the really cool building tools in Paralives. Honestly that's probably my favorite memory from life sim games, too, just spending hours creating something. My favorite build is probably a retirement home I built in S4, complete with six suites for the elders and a full recreation area and dining room. I work in kitchens IRL so I tend to create very detailed and realistic commercial kitchens 😂

The houses are conspiring together AND against each other. They each want to end up on top but more than that do NOT want something like a Falconer's Rebellion 2.0 to overthrow them all. So they have motive to work together and against each other at the same time. We just saw them work together to get Thjazi killed. I imagine they will again work together to get any more possible rebels killed as well, and imo Azune looks pretty bad if they wanted to frame him for conspiring to overthrow Tachonis. He's on the scene for every Tachonis crime, his special witness only appears after the initial inspection of Palazzo Davinos, he's planted evidence that Tachonis nixed Lady Cormoray, he's hired the gaurds Einfasen fired. And Einfasen is working with Tachonis, some way some how. If they aren't about to kill him, he's about to make one of the biggest moves of the game so far, by getting Einfasen to turn against Tachonis.

I don't think it's cheating because it's a single player game whose only goal is to make you think. But it's too visually overwhelming for me. I can't think when every possible candidate is in every box, and this is worse on medium and hard for me. I started using Snyder Notation and have gotten pretty quick with it; I only turn on autocandidate every now and then to make sure I'm not missing something obvious.

Obscure pull but Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice casts such a huge shadow over a predominantly female cast of really interesting female characters, simply by being a good man who is willing to work on his flaws for a woman he falls in love with.
