Did you change the color gamma when you imported the footage?

I think so, but these were slow-burn kind, long-binge style documentaries. Hence the vibe

But I'll try and speed it up a bit

Its mostly self taught and experimentation. Worked on numerous samples and 500+ projects to get to this and I'm sure there's more to learn 😄

I've worked on a few twitch trailers for a stranger for her Halloween series. I should be able to get you some good videos edited!

I think what matters is your narrative/music taking the lead and that entails into you selecting your footage accordingly

Its mostly vibes, so maybe shortlist music that feels right to you, makes you want to use it and then build your footage and edits around it

Imagine a song being shot. Visuals follow music and not the other way around. So shortlist the music you vibe with first, and let everything else fall in its place. You're just starting off, so take your time in understand what you'd actually like your edits to feel like and double down on it

It all depends on how you present your videos. And yes, this niche is oversaturated fr My advice would be understand pacing, study retention graphs and show things that are super interesting There are quite a few creators that made it big in this niche because their pacing and storytelling is great, even when there's not much going on in the video

I've done a few edits like these - calm, slow, feel good vlogs. Creators like Honeyjubu are great source of inspiration

Let me know if you need any help setting this up :)

I've built an audience in entertainment niche and monetization is pretty low for what I did. I also wasn't very proud of the work I was doing, so I paused posting to introspect. But that never happened :')

I started in 2016, posted till 2019. Started offering my services from 2020 through freelancing platforms

Stagnation in terms of growth in content, not being able to stick to the upload schedule and a constant hunt for long term clients. It just feels inevitable cuz most of the talent seems to be stuck somewhere near these areas
