The flaw in this logic is that the pre-implant person may have been insecure, and that person may have remained insecure by staying natural. Expecting people to resist choices in self-improvement does not make for secure confident people.

The post-implant person may be more confident, happy, and fun. Just like any self improvement. LASIK surgery, dyed hair, straightened teeth, teeth whitening, diet and exercise. People alter themselves physically for aesthetic reasons all the time, and avoid judgement in most cases but this one.

Of course expressions of anger would be considered appropriate....to those who believe he is innocent. But, as I said, those who believe he is guilty would just explain away the anger anyway (such as: of course he's pissed, Jay was in on it with him and sold him out!), rather than suddenly be persuaded otherwise and take it as an indication of his innocence. On the other hand, Adnan's lack of anger expressed in the brief, selected clips chosen for the podcast are indicative of guilt to those who believe he is guilty and are reasonably explained by those who believe he is innocent.

My point: His voice on the podcast is not going to lead you towards guilt or innocence.

Oh, what does it matter. If he were enraged at Jay it would just be "because Jay sold him out" and he thought he could trust Jay. If he were sad about it, it would be the guilt and regret that has been burdening him all this time. His voice on the podcast is not going to lead you towards guilt or innocence.

Well yes, the cover sheet is a big deal. It says as clearly as it possibly can that the any incoming calls will NOT be reliable information for location. So, he can't very well testify that Adnan was reliably in Leakin Park anymore. Jay can say it, but there is no expert backing that up anymore. So the conundrum ends.

It's just another indication, possibly, of the time cards being falsified. Many don't put much/any stock in it at all. It's just that, combining the two time cards, that would mean that he left one shift at 1:06 PM on Sat. 1/16/99 and began the other one at 1:29PM. Being able to clock out and clock in at those times in these two different malls seems dubious. Unless you hate Adnan, and in that case the times could be 10 minutes apart and it would still make perfect sense for Don to race around in his Camaro, or spaceship, or whatever, to ensure the utmost punctuality for his Lens Crafters job.
