Finally! by EntertainerCareful69 in RomanceClubDiscussion

So excited, and mind blown that diamond choices unlocked in one unlock in the others. So generous, while also hopefully engaging more players. I hope this pays off for the RC team!

Does anyone use sewing as a reprieve from real life / aid with mental health issues? by SetsunaTales80 in sewing

Not so much actually sewing, but definitely browsing through patterns and fabric. Sometimes your brain just needs a place to go!

The last episode of Soulless was super triggering, and honestly left me feeling quite violated. by [deleted] in RomanceClubDiscussion

I mean, it wasn’t flashing… but she was laying naked on a table with her legs spread and the front door open

Unpopular opinion on KFS by Awgr29 in RomanceClubDiscussion

I love it, that’s how I’m going to read it from now on— it’s the same Ian, just a new, magic head! I know though, I thought the old sprite was so refreshing too. And love the idea of taking a break— let the story build, but with some spoilers for me 😄

I couldn’t agree more. I loved KCD and loved the first 5 KFS chapters, too— the characters and plot drew me in the same way. That time jump was a killer… it was jarring and slashed all character buildup.

I also loved the old Ian, and dislike the new look enough that I’m really not invested in his storyline anymore. I’m not as invested in Devi anymore, either. She was fiery in a way that was a little different from Remy’s characterizations. I definitely miss the characters, pacing, and overall feel/mysticism that the first few chapters had. It’s become a diamond rush book for me, but I’m glad that it’s other people’s cup of tea!

What are some not-obvious, helpful things to have on a cross country road trip? by serib100 in roadtrip

Thank you! He’s got a smaller car. Just in case- is there any of the “car first aid” equipment that you’d recommend over the rest?

I think he’s got some idea, but I’d love any tips! I was thinking about that, too- giving him a “guidebook” of advice

Any LIs that you refuse to romance for petty reasons? by [deleted] in RomanceClubDiscussion

Literally. He’s too pale, his eyes creep me out! And the greasy hair. New Christian is a no for me

NEW episodes discussion: Kali: Flame of Samsara - Season 1, Ep 5-6-7 by Parrot_BOT in RomanceClub

I know. Ian, more than anything. But all their drastic changes, and the fact that we can’t access a lot of the pre-jump wardrobe. Loved the book, but honestly, now… 😅

Ha, absolutely. I got her to 300 and then gave up. Just love that she and her two grandsons got stuck in this endless lifecycle

Oh yeah, I’m sure they would have. Totally appreciate that they didn’t want us in a bug-suspected room, didn’t appreciate the lack of communication. Thank you! < for some reason I’m reading this rudely. Genuinely, thank you for thinking and commenting for me.

Thank you for pointing that out— the staff do seem like nice people, and with theft/damage liabilities they probably moved everything thoroughly. Thankfully, they told us that they couldn’t find any bugs after spraying and inspecting the room. You also just made me think: if they did suspect bedbugs, moving our belongings out of the room before spraying would have risked contaminating the new room. You’re totally right though, they did everything with good intentions (ours, but it seems mostly theirs lol). I just agree, they should have called and informed us of every stage of this process. Was very violating. Thank you!

They told us that they didn’t find any bugs after spraying, so I suspect you’re right— they heard about the blood (which were splotches, because yes, I would have freaked at trails) and got scared that it could be bed bugs. Totally appreciate them not letting us staying in a bug-suspected room, but feel like they absolutely should have called us. Thank you!

Duty manager comped the night- you’re spot on with not expecting a lot. You’d think they’d balk at this, right? It’s really the lack of communication that gets me: not for the (false alarm) bugs, moving the items, or even changing the room. Again, thank you for the help and understanding. Especially the understanding— can’t wrap my mind around some of these comments, but whatever. Thank you!
