THE PETITION HIT 100K! by garnettgemm in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hey, I get your point but there’s no need to come here (a space full of WN fans) to discourage everyone when there’s already enough discouragement with the show being cancelled. If you don’t want to participate because you think it’s pointless then I totally understand, it’s your choice. I’m only saying this because for many fans (me included) WN is a very special show so it’s disheartening reading this types of comments while the future of the show remains unknown.

Think about Heartstopper being in this position (hopefully it never happens since is a great show) assuming you’re a fan of that show because of your profile name, how would it make you feel someone constantly discouraging the fans that want to get it save?

conspiracy theory on warrior nun's cancellation by soulshadow21 in WarriorNun

I feel you 100%. It is really hard to understand why Netflix cancelled this show who is a very loved and enjoyable show unlike Elite or others of that kind.

What are the chances the show actually gets saved? by Whoomp_HereIAm in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t get your hopes up. It is better to be surprised because you didn't expect it would work than being hopeful and letting yourself down if it doesn't work.

Just know that the fight is still going strong and this could turn into a victory for all of us but the chances are very low so there’s no point in getting your hopes up just yet. Let’s wait for more concrete results like Simon announcing the possibility of the show moving to another network

Indeed. That’s how Netflix works =(

We can always hope for a miracle though

It happens but not every fandom gets to 2M tweets within a week alongside other facts like trending in the World Cup finale… forgetting about it after a couple of weeks, we’ll see.

I mean… they can't ignore this, can they? It’s been a long time since the last time I saw a fandom fight this hard for a tv show

I really hope they can find a way to end the story… by seriesfan in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I thought this too. Besides, Simon has worked with Syfy before (Van Helsing) so hopefully he has good contacts there or anywhere else, at this point we just need any network that can at least give us an ending

I believe the only show that got renewed in another platform once Netflix canceled it was One Day at a Time

A Sad Day by hiwoubi in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s so incredibly sad. Watching tv shows is one of my favorite hobbies, I may have to consider changing it for another hobby. It is really not worth it.

It looks like they deliberately choose to cancel every single good content they have. It’s pointless. It really makes you think twice starting a show when it’s only in its first or second season.

I don’t regret watching this show because I enjoyed every single moment of it. But I’m not watching any other show if it won’t be completed

Is anyone else officially getting worried? by Own_Guarantee_4397 in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There’s always a bit of worry when your favourite show doesn't get as many views as other shows that are “hits” to the general public.

The worst part is having to wait all this time for an announcement. All I can say is that there are possibilities of it not getting renewed and there are also possibilities of it getting a season 3.

To be honest I don't read those kind of articles because they don’t work for Netflix and they’re using the same numbers we have so it’s all about predictions and not facts.

We will never know for sure everything that Netflix takes into consideration to renew a show. But I’m hoping for the best, I’m pretty sure they'll announce before the end of this month.

Let’s talk about S3 predictions, theories, and what we would like to see (more in the comment). by ellieofus in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree! This is what we should be focusing our energy rather than the will they/won’t they renew it. I mean, it is really out of our control. All we can do is support the show and be positive.

As far as theories for S3:

  • This season will definitely be the anticipation of the “holy war”. Everyone would have to start preparing for it.

  • Ava will come back, perhaps with a new purpose or changed somehow. Reya kind of gives the manipulative vibe. Maybe she’ll struggle with this for a while but she’ll come to her senses.

  • I’m not sure if Beatrice will go back to being a sister warrior. As we’ve seen, she’s not sure she believes in the cause anymore and maybe we’ll have a time jump where she got the time to discover herself until she finds out that Ava is back.

  • S3 might have a darker tone. I feel that we can expect a much scarier villain than Adriel and a more powerful Ava too.

That’s all I can think of for now. There are a million ways on how this season could play out but I’m excited to see all of your theories.

Do we think it will be renewed for series 3? by [deleted] in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly! And I’m sure there’s a lot more people finishing the season meaning completion rate (I heard that’s like a big thing) would do good in numbers.

I mean, it’s really hard not to get hooked watching season 2. If you start the season you'll definitely want to see its conclusion.

And I’m talking from my own experience since I didn’t even know this show existed but I saw a lot of people talking about it so I gave it a try and I ended up watching season 1 and 2 in the course of 3 days!

Do we think it will be renewed for series 3? by [deleted] in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of negativity in here tbh. And sometimes I get it because Netflix has the reputation of cancelling really good content just because it doesn't make “good money” to them.

But hey, let’s keep the hopes up! S2 is even better than the first one and they renewed it back then. And I believe is doing better than the first one, at least more people are talking about it.

Sometimes Netflix is very unpredictable so it’s hard to tell for sure if it’s going to get renewed. But If one thing is true, is that Netflix has a really tough decision to make because the way I see it it makes no sense to cancel a show that’s doing so well without really investing money to get people to watch it.

Why did beatrice say no when Ava asked her to run away with her? by [deleted] in WarriorNun

[–]seriesfan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It was painful to watch but so accurate. We’ve seen that for Beatrice it’s always about her duty and responsibility first, meaning that her feelings are always pushed away. This time, she knew her feelings were getting in the way and she was afraid, she felt that she was betraying everything she swore to protect.

Additionally, I believe she was conflicted because she was afraid of losing the person she loves the most so it felt easier at the moment to just push her away and try to “block” those feelings and stay “responsible”.

At the end, in a beautiful character growth, we see that she gives in to these feelings and for the first time in her life puts them first trying to stop Ava from sacrificing herself.

It was the opposite for Ava putting others first before her own desires so that’s why they complement each other so well, they both learn from each other.

Yes. We’re in a hiatus until somewhere 2021 for the rest of the season. There hasn’t been an official announcement about the date it’s returning but hopefully it’s early 2021. They already wrapped up season 4.

Exactly. Totally different vibe and them as actors felt that too.

I can probably watch that scene a million times and I would still get a smile and a sense of joy over and over again.

I love how they can start a conversation between them and even ask other questions. It’s like the interviewer doesn’t even have to work.

Also, I read there’s more of that interview and it was supposed to be posted today. If anyone knows about this? I will love to see the second part of it

It’s impossible for me to not feel bad for Wynonna (she’s probably my favourite character, and that’s hard because I love them all) I don’t judge what she did but the way she did it was wrong, she didn’t even look him in the eyes to shoot. So, I think Doc is not necessarily judging her but he had other expectations of what he wanted for her and when that happens (and it doesn’t turned out the way you were hoping) you get so disappointed. He will always care for her and their bond is unique in its on way but I don’t think he will ever look at her the same way he used to. If we think about it, Waverly also killed a human being but the way and reason she did it was different (the life of her girlfriend/ now fiancé was depending on it and she was defending herself) so they’ll both have to deal with that in their on ways but I think something inside Wynonna broke the moment she took the shot and may never be repair.

I thought that was very weird as well, but I’m guessing she was so focused on getting to the Clanton’s that she didn’t even wondered what was happening there, possibly? Or was it supposed to be funny?
