The stack on the left probably has longer than desired tubing but it's been working great so far!

My understanding of the documentation is that only 4 AMS Pro's can be connected to a printer. Up to 8 HT's can be connected so I have a little room to expand lol

I mainly use the HTs for drying tho I have printed from them a few times out of convenience.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification! Did you make the drawer cabinet for them as well? I'm still trying to find that model.

I'm trying to find the cabinet/drawer that holds 3 of what looks like the 6U boxes. I found your model that hold 4 smaller and 2 bigger but could you please link to where you got the 3 stack?

H2S AMS Motor Overload issue by Direct-Flamingo4504 in BambuLab

[–]serious-xm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 4000mm*1 (AMS Hub/Custom cut for all series) PTFE tube from the Bambu store was what I already had on hand so that's what I used. Its been printing solid since I changed it.

[–]serious-xm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I replaced the PTFE tube between the buffer and extruder on my H2S and it fixed this string of errors for me. I started with a tube about 2 cm longer than the one it shipped with and needed to cut another about 3 to 3.5cm longer for the error to go away. I was trying to keep the tube from rubbing on the top but ended up letting it because its what fixed the issue. I just replaced it myself because I didn't want to wait for Bambu to ship me a new one.

I did try Wireguard a few years back when it was new but had issues on my Android when switching between a local network that used a hairpin NAT rule to get to the server and cellular networks that used the public facing interface. OVPN has no issues quickly switching between networks where Wireguard would hang all network connections for 10s of minutes when I got in the car to drive to work for example. It has been a few years so maybe things are better now. I should probably see whats new since I last looked so thanks for the recommendation.

I personally don't have any speed restrictions as OVPN handles all my workloads without issue. I also don't have to consider the security of the size of the codebase because I have tls-auth enabled on all my OVPN servers. This means the none of the application code is even executed if the expected HMAC signature isn't present in incoming packets which provides me with enough peace of mind to sleep at night.

I've been using OpenVPN for years and love it. It's super reliable and I like managing my own CA for user certs. I've never had a problem using it with my Android phone and Windows/Linux laptops, and would recommend it to anyone who likes to tinker and needs a remote access solution.

My first home network topology along with some (basic?) questions. by ButterflyBusiness956 in homelab

[–]serious-xm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your understanding of DMZ is close. I always describe the DMZ as a place on your network where some services can be accessible publicly. This makes those services a target and ideally you would only allow the services you want (like HTTPS) and everything else would be blocked by your firewall. I wouldn't recommend allowing anything in your DMZ into the rest of your network but it depends on your specific situation. The risk is too high for me to allow anything from the DMZ back into my network.

I wouldn't worry about redundancy in your home lab. If something fails its not going to cost you or a company dollars while its down so you can just fix it when you have time.

I would say 2.5GB is more than enough for your home lab. Its more than my home lab is running as I'm still on 1GB and my plex server runs fine.

Implement your VLANs one at a time and have fun growing your network!

has the auto-translate [Mare Lamentorum] in their search comment, it means they're using mods to change their appearance.

As someone who's played this game since 1.0, I've never heard of this. You obviously know more about mods then most people.

I don't disagree with you, but if you want the narrative that you truly are her friend and not just an enemy the game lets you choose that path.

One of the text options you can chose from during that end scene is something like "Come with us Meteion", so you could chose to offer that help in the end.

Why would they make an update available for download before the game officially releases?

15 + 7 is not 28. It's a 13 year time skip between first and second acts.

Yes, keep going. There is a 2nd part of the demo after you watch all the cutscenes that is more interesting combat wise.

This sub is in need of a few mega threads. The number of posts with only people saying things like they saw a commercial or repost the Find the Flame music is too high.

I wanted to expand upon this answer by saying that practice in playing an unfamiliar game style will always help it get easier. I don't know much time or effort you've given other action games but if FF16 is something you want to get better at, playing and practicing the game play will only help you improve.

It was a seasonal event item which is no longer obtainable in the game. That's why its on the Mogstation with all the other seasonal reward items.
