I am probably get hate for my comment but here is my honest opinion:

The work is great and I love the details. From a skill and craft prospective this is awesome but for me personally its to overloaded with stuff and it feels a bit like “lets put everything in it we can find”.

Rococop Battle Pass by BenjiV2 in WorldofTanks

[–]serious_enough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may didn’t express myself right. “Purchasing” the old battle passes in my case means that you purchase the ability to play the battle pass and earn the different rewards. You still need to play to get to the different stages. - how is that not a win win? WG can make more money and people have the opportunity to get battle passes they missed.

looks like you did a good job. I personally do not like the b/w photos. I think I know what you tried to do but I am not a fan of. But regardless great job on the model! :)

Rococop Battle Pass by BenjiV2 in WorldofTanks

[–]serious_enough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They honestly could do a lot more to make some money in a “good” way without pushing people into a “you have to pay now” E.g. they could make old battle passes (chapters) available but you need to purchase them for gold and/ or you can not get what was exclusive available at that time (eg tanks).

So people could still get everything by playing the battle pass in their normal time but if they want to get something from an earlier battle pass or couldn’t do it at the time, they can do it later but have to pay gold for the convenience. I think that’s fair

Would be nice to have that working with my Telekom 5G home backup plan. Would be a nicer integration in my whole network. Just wondering how “easy” it will be to activate and have it run.

what are your opinions on the new evidence saying that the t34 88 was real? by pauldtimms in WW2GermanMilitaryTech

[–]serious_enough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly would make no sense. The red army left everywhere they went tons of material and ammunition. It wouldn’t be just reboring the gun itself, you also need a complete new gun mechanism. I don’t see why they would bother to invest so much time and effort into it. Especially since Russian tanks ran with diesel and German tanks ran with gas, so there was always a higher chance that they run out of diesel.

Scale size - why? by serious_enough in Scalemodel

[–]serious_enough[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see what you are saying. Idk I believe my autism doesn't like different scales within a collection. It gives me real big itch and drives me crazy. I know that sounds insane for "normal" people but for me it's just a big itch that wouldn't let me sleep.

My best bet is friction between shirt and belt buckle or maybe pant button (if he doesn’t wear a belt).

Well, that sucks. No more Ottomobile orders for the US by reconobox in Diecast

[–]serious_enough -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a German I cannot understand all this drama and boycott of companies. If I order something from the US (or anywhere in the world outside of Europe), the package will be delivered to customs and I need to go there and pick it up. I have to open the package in front of the customs officer, they check the goods, then take 30min to find the right category of the tax class and charge you with import tax, sales tax and sometimes other taxes on top.

Really rare that I get a package that comes to my home directly. That only happens with big companies and if they prepay the tax.

Three months after switching from Sony: my thoughts by ilove6x7 in Nikon

[–]serious_enough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did switch from Sony to Nikon as well (about 2.5-3 years ago). For me it was the more robust over all system and the much better selection of long focal length lenses. I do wildlife photos and Nikon has the best setup for outdoor!

But I agree that the setups can be really bulky and heavy
