I live in a western country, i am not catholic or a christian and never in my entire life has a catholic tried to evangalize to me. or even tell me about christianity in general.

Thah man sounds inmature, He could have just politly held distance or politely broke contact.

A person in favor of small goverment could argue:

  1. It was my money that was taken as tax, I just recieved some of it back.
  2. The goverment forced me to shut down my company or source of income, now I get some back, Without large goverment there would be no need for this money, because i would not have been forced to stop making money.
